Can to becher pint glass.
Appearance: dark brown close to black color with a finger and a half's worth of eggshell white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some messy lace
Aroma: dark malts, toastiness, roastiness, earthy character, sweet coffee tones, light black licorice and some dark chocolate tones
Flavor: blends all the prior mentioned aromas together in a semi-sweet toasted maltiness, barely an aftertaste but seemed somewhat roasty and dark toast
Texture: light to medium bodied, somewhat sessionable, earthy to toasty semi-dry finish
Overall: it works as an English porter, I would bang again.
