Our decadent Oatmeal Stout lovingly aged in Bourbon barrels. Beautiful chocolate, espresso and vanilla-bourbon aromas hold your nose hostage. Rich dark chocolate truffle, bourbon and espresso create a dangerously smooth and incredibly drinkable barrel aged Oatmeal Stout. Hoarding tendencies may occur.

650 ml bottle. 2015 vintage. Pours a dark brown with moderate head that settles quickly. Aromas of cheap bourbon, oatmeal cookies, and walnuts. Flavors follow same with oak and quite a bit of alcohol for the ABV. Thin. Really expecting more...

65 cl bottle vintage 2014 @ Churchill’s Pub & Grille, San Marcos. Rated on 29.08.2015 Aroma is a bit odd and mild with oaty tones. Flavour has oaty malt, licorice root and sweetish malt. A bit thin and disappointing, the licorice notes are nice though. 7-4-7-3-17 = 3.8 35,5 cl bottle vintage 2017 @ home. Rated on 1.10.2021 Aroma has quite nothing but bourbon; vanilla, nuts and licorice. Feels straightforward. Flavour is rather woody with bourbon tones, vanilla, licorice and alcohol. A bit too raw and sharp but not bad. 7-4-7-4-15 = 3.7
