2016 vintage, inky black with a tan head that quickly dissipates. A bit boozy sharp but nutty bourbon malty chocolate. Spritzy seltzer like body that is lighter than I expected. Really nice stuff. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours mahogany tinged black into a shaker. Micro mocha head recedes to coat surface. Sweet chocolate aromas. Sweet chocolate and espresso upfront turning to dry bourbon and vanilla before the lasting coconut finish.

Flaska från SB drucken med ölföreningen. Firestone är mästare på att lägga till en liten fatdimension på i princip allt de brygger, men här tycker jag nästan att det bli väl mykcet ek. Men det är ändå riktigt elegant med choklad, vanilj, mörka körsbär och kaffe som accenter till den söta rostade malten. Kanske lite större kropp hade lyft det en nivå till. Men gott är det ändå.

Draft @ Beavertown Extravaganza'17. Brune foncée, col café au lait, léger dorée au verre. Arôme offre un bouquet bien malté, caramel, fruits noirs, malté et fine note de vanillé. Barrique sans vraiment trouvé la douceur de lactose. Palais est malté, pâle, caramel, crystal avec un bel effet de biscuité, alcool perce bien, vanille et de belles notes boisées assez diluées que pour mettre en avant le caractère des malts. Fruits noirs rappelant la prune confite, raisin sec, chocolaté fudge.

Svart med høyt beige skum. Lukter kaffe, havre, sjokolade, kjenner lagringen i bourbon tønner, vanilje, trevirke og bourbon. Middels fylde. Smaker også bourbon, myk, vanilje, eik, sjokoladekake, havre.

On tap at Firestone Walker Barrelworks. Pours black with beige head. Roasted malts, dark chocolate, bourbon, some raisins, vanilla, wood. Sweet with bitterness in finish. Smooth. Medium bodied.
