This traditional Maibock lager was brewed with our fellow Midwestern friends from Michigan, Old Nation, to celebrate the coming seasons. It's a strong, balanced, honey-hued decoction-mashed lager brewed with finesse and a touch of fuzzy logic. Prost!

Appearance: rugged amber color with a one finger foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some messy lace
Aroma: pale malts through doughy/bready tones, light grassy & earthy hops
Flavor: nice malty semi-sweetness and using the hops to balance a fine bittering underneath; no aftertaste
Texture: between light to medium bodied, sessionable, clean, smooth, malty finish
Overall: nicely done Maibock lager well worthy of having again.
