Catch up rating from notes, 2012: .5l draft at restaurant in Altdorf. Pale golden, bright, clear. Big, foamy head. Aroma is typical pils with some meadow and grassy notes, nice malt profile, and a bit of the hops. Taste follows with more of the bready, malty flavors, hint of savory spice and a nice crisp bitter bite at the finish. Nice lingering hoppiness as well.

Bottle from Bamberg. Pours clear yellow with a creamy egg white head and lacings. Very grainy nose and flavor. A bit bland. Medium bodied. Not much going on. Decent.

Can somewhere during my Germany trip. Golden color with medium white head. Hops, some grain in aroma. Taste, refreshing, grain, some fruits, bittersweet finish. Nothing special.

Clear golden with a huge white head. Malty hints in the nose along with grassy hops. Flavour had grassy hops malt and hints of caramel. Finished dry and bitter.

50 cL bottle, courtesy of KimJohansen. Pours pale yellow with a huge white head. Aroma is cornish and grassy. Malty and light cornish. Bitter, cornish and light malty. Bitter dry finish.

Bottle 500ml. @ home.Clear light to medium yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, toasted, cardboard. Flavor is light moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20100104]

Bottle: Pale golden to golden, small but lacy white head; grainy-papery nose plus the inevitable grassy hops; moderate, quite dry bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; molecular traces of sweet pale malt in the bitter-sweet finish. Typical faceless macro-stuff.........
