Mit Stolz blicken wir auf unsere große Hopfenstadt Nürnberg und brauen ein unverkennbares Bier nach Pilsener Brauart. Ausgewählte Hopfen, wie der berühmte Hallertauer Aromahopfen „Tradition“, und unser weiches Wasser aus eigenem Brunnen sorgen für ein feinherbes Pils mit intensiver Hopfenblume, ganz nach Nürnberger Art.

Standard looking mass produced German lager with lightly hopped aroma and very dry bitter flavour. Overall a good but basic lager.

[At Fete de la Biere 2004, Lausanne] A clear pale yellow beer with a fine dense white head. THe aroma is sweet with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of yeast and caramel. The carbonization prickles the tongue.

Another good German pils - pleasant to drink, not too bitter, just nothing to set it apart from the crowd. I like it but don’t prefer it above other pils.

Nice allround malt and aromahop nose. Pale and bubbly, fine head. Malt dominates, firmbodied with a ok (but not great) bitter finish. Seems to be bit of a bastard between a typical bavarian helles and a bohemian pils.
