We've been impressed with Superflux for some time - our Adam visited the brewery when in Vancouver in 2022 and brought back their beers - but it was only last year that we got to meet their Adam and talk IPA over an IPA or two. Being our only brewery from the west coast in the series, it felt fitting to brew a DDH westie together. Krush (Cryo Fresh no less!), Nectaron and Moteuka provide a plenitude of pineapple, guava, passionfruit and mango over a clean base with a refreshing bitterness.

Panda courtesy of Theydon_Bois, cheers Colin! Gluten Free. Amber gold colour, thin white foam head and aroma of fruit, melon, citric, hops. Taste is sweetish, malty, some fruity notes, mellow citrus, pine, with earthy hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry fruity hoppy bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Can at home. Clear golden color, medium sized white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, hops, malt bitters, hop bitterness. A bit dusty. Not too much flavor, but nicely bitter. I like it, but I like bitter beers. Probably too bitter for a lot of people though.

Juicy tropical fruity, citrusy and zesty grapefruity with some floral hops, grass, hints of pine, resin, dankness and mild bitterness. Fruity and floral modern west coast IPA.

Slight perfumy nose with stone fruit and some resin. Decent bitterness, long finish. Citrus lingering.

440ml can. Clear golden with with a white head. Aroma is very resinous, grapefruit, orange, pine. Taste likewise very resinous, pine, orange and grapefruit, some peach and lime, good bitterness (but maybe wants more). Medium bodied. Solid.
