3 oz. pour on tap at Vermont Brewfest. Opaque black, nice head, good retention, nice lacing. Aroma is strong roasted malt, slightly earthy. Taste follows aroma. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation, finish as taste. Pretty good representative of the style of an Irish stout.
