幸あれ
A celebration-worthy strong saison with an addictively fruity and spicy yeast character that finishes authentically dry.
Naming:
The Japanese name for this beer, "sachi are" means a hope of happiness, fortune, and luck, all things that people wish upon one another in the new year. This beer was inspired by our favourite strong saison, one that was originally conceived as a message of best wishes to those to who we feel indebted, and so we wished to carry that sentiment through our own interpretation of this wonderful celebratory beer style.
Food Pairing:
Salmon with dill marinade, roast chicken with grilled root vegetables and brussels sprouts, yuzu butter sauteed "buri" (yellowtail)
Specs:
Series: 特別限定醸造
Style: Strong Saison
ABV: 9.0%
IBU: 25
Ingredients: Malt, Rye Flake, Suger, Hop
Hops: Styrian Goldings, Saaz, Ekuanot

Can, picked up in late January at Seijo Ishii. Pours a deep, dark golden orange, hazy, with a huge, fine, rocky head. Yeasty, bready, estery aroma. Stone fruit, orange and lemon, biscuits, honey and spices. Very rich and fruity. Tangy, fruity, bready and bitter flavor.Big malt, big hops, lots of fruit. Full bodied but not heavy.Very similar to the Bon Vouex I remember. Great stuff.
