Ephemeris refers to a point in time which is arbitrarily selected as a point of reference. When we design our West Coast-style recipes, we think about the anchor points in terms of hops and bitterness. The recipe here uses two hops which are very much part of this baseline. You can expect notes of candied orange and grapefruit in this bright and bitter beer

K2g at The White Hart, Chobham. Slightly opaque gold. Foamy white head. Aroma has light resin, gooseberry edge and underlying malts. Flavourwise it has resinous bitterness with a spur gooseberry and citrus tangy edge. Underlying corky malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Punchy.
