Bottle sample at Moonlight Meadery, pours a clear pale yellowish blonde. Aroma brings out lots of earthy coffee and subtle vanilla. Flavour is along the same lines, with earthy coffee, vanilla and intense honey sweetness. Even more complex than the Kamasumatra. Exquisite.

Bottle. Pours a clear light gold with no head. Aroma has sweet boozy honey with a hint of deep coffee underlying. Flavor has a good amount of sweet honey with booze and a roasted coffee note backing.

Deep golden color with moderate legs. Rich sweet honey aromas with a hint of carmelization deep fruit and alcohol. Faint coffee flavors awash in sweet honey. Not my favorite Moonlight mead.

4 oz pour from a bottle at ChurchKey shared by Travlr, thanks Gene! Clear straw yellow, no head. Aromas of coffee, light citrus, booze. Tastes of sweet coffee, apples, honey, booze. Light body with a dry finish. Still carbonation.
