Our second offering in our pancake stout series, Eatin' Cancakes, this fruited stout is a co-release with our coffee cake imperial stout, Shugga Shugga. Coffee cake and blueberry pancakes? What's not to love? We blended real Vermont maple syrup with blueberry to create more of a tangy fruit syrup for this version, providing a refreshing note that counters the big levels of sweetness from the base beer. If you like our banana pancake stout, you won't want to miss the blueberry version. Extremely limited! Don't sleep!

Can to snifter.
Appearance: dark brown close to black in the color with a one finger off-white to khaki foamy head which dissipated fairly quick to leave super subtle lace
Aroma: maple syrup, roasted coffee beans, blueberry sweetness, vanilla and milk sugar, milk chocolate
Flavor: does a decent effort to combine the prior mentioned aromas fairly sweet but seems to let the roastiness be a little more subdued; pretty sweet in the aftertaste with the vanilla, maple syrup and blueberries really showing some strength
Texture: medium bodied, I believe it's a sipper, close to being cloying, finishes somewhat sticky sweet with the maple syrup and blueberries
Overall: I feel like there's something good supposed to be here but once again, the sweetness seems to overdo the other aspects, maybe again if the recipe was modified.
