On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy orange with small white head that lasts. The aroma is strong wheat and lemon zest. Thin mouth, wheat, lemon, light finish, crushable, good.

Draft at the source. Cloudy straw color, big thick white head. Herbal citrus aroma. Taste is spiced bready lemon. OK.

6 dollar draft at the Howlin Wolf, New Orleans. Filtered dull orange-tan. Clovy orange banana aroma. Id guess this is an American Wheat. Mild and doughy, with some classic wheat tones, maybe a hint of creamsicle. The aroma is a little chemical soapy, minty. Somewhere between a German and US Wheat, a little buttery. Score seems generous.

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 11 Aug 2011) Hazy golden colour with foamy, white head. Fruity, spicy, herbal nose with citrus, ginger and basil. Fruity, herbal taste with notes of citrus, slightly soapy wheat, basil, ginger and a mild, spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, fairly sweet. Quite weird with lots of character from the basil (but it took me a while to realise what it was). Interesting and drinkable.

Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm. Hazy golden, small creamy head. Aroma of lime and coriander. Mid sweet with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Light bodied with some citric spicyness, orange and slight tart funkiness. Low bitterness. An unusally alive american wheat ale.

On tap at Akkurat in August 2011. Clear light amber with a small white head. A very strange beer, I did feel some citrus and malt but mostly rubber and something that reminded of chlorine. No thanks!
