Ludwig "Lutz" Weber (1914-1996) was the patriarch to Common Roots founders, Bert and Christian. This beer is a tribute to his legacy and our family's roots. Enjoy this unfiltered German-style lager inspired by "Lutz". Prost!

On tap at Common Roots Outpost, Albany, NY.
Appearance: golden yellow transparent color with a bar pour's kind of head which slid off and didn't leave any lace
Aroma: clean biscuity/bready malts and a touch of floral/earthy hops
Flavor: semi-sweet through the prior noted aromas; mild biscuity aftertaste
Texture: light bodied, sessionable, smooth on the tongue; finishes crisp and smooth
Overall: as far as I know this was a nice kellerbier I would have again.
