Notes:A small beer often refers to a brewing technique where the last runnings from a mash of stronger beer is collected to ferment a lighter, lower-alcohol beer. In our case we used the last runnings of our 8% ABV Doppelbock Loggerhead, and were able to collect enough wort for a finished beer of 3.1% ABV.
