My wife snagged a bottle of this for me because SHE is the bomb! Black, think pour with minimal deep brown head. Sweet malty, coffee, vanilla, chocolate, roasted malt. Full bodied and oily smooth. Finishes with nice malty bittersweet chocolate. Very sweet but nicely balanced with roasted coffee. A great winter warmer.

12 oz. bottle, given by Treebute, and shared at my going away bottle share. Pitch black, with a small, foamy, tan head. The nose is bittersweet chocolate, coffee, walnuts, nutmeg, and chili peppers, Very sweet, with a smooth, pleasant roastiness. Heavy body, sticky, and a little watery. This is a nice stout.

Keg at Craft Conundrum, Charleston ’burbs, 18/02/15. Black topped with a dirty tan covering. Nose is rich malt, spice, chocolate, dark fruit rinds, molasses, light metallic nip. Taste comprises more rich malt, spice more evident, chocolate, dark fruit shreds, black pepper. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a trickle of warming alcohol. Decent enough impy but probably the weakest in the series for me.
