The Brewers’ Reserve Series gives our brewers a little creative freedom. This time, they made a Barleywine, tossing in all available malts, and then setting the finished beer aside in rum barrels. Look for flavors of caramel and toffee alongside rum barrel notes of vanilla, molasses, and warm spices.

12oz can c/o Ryan. Rum barrel full dominates most everything about this beer. Boozes it out, kind of takes away a lot of the enjoyability of the malts. Classic case of better without the barrel. OK.
