Heatwave, Mexican Lager, 5.1%
We designed Heatwave to be dry and refreshing with a unique blend of old and new world hops to evoke clean and subtle flavors of lime, fresh cut hay and a spicy noble hop bite. The addition of flaked maize lends a complexity and authenticity to Heatwave while leaving a dry and refreshing body. Best enjoyed with your toes in the water on an oppressively hot day. Try it with a slice of lime... we won't judge.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to becher glass.
Appearance: glossy yellow with some transparency to it. Two and half fingers of white foamy head slid off delicately to leave some light messy lace.
Aroma: sweet corn, sweet grassy hops, super subtle lime/or maybe lemon, subtle hop spice and hay-ish sort of qualities
Flavor: balances between the sweet corn/hay/ever-so-slight breadiness to a slight hop spicy aspect; no aftertaste
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, sly smoothness - the hop spice is a bit detained here on the tongue, finishes crisp with the sweet corn & lemon meshing
Overall: nicely done - Mexican lager? Sure that's what I guess this is supposed to be.
