Bottle. Pours black. Aroma is vanilla, bourbon, caramel, diabetes, marzipan. Body is heavy and strong, more vanilla and diabetes, but working well. Lively carbonation, powerful, uncompromising but smooth. Very good.

SBWF 2018. Black with brown head. Oaky barrel, vanilla beans, body lotion, earthy with wet oak and loads of vanilla sweetness. Different than the bunch, but still very much the same.

ABV: (11.9)%. Clear dark black colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, vanilla, alcohol, barrel, vanilla - toasted coconut - bourbon. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, vanilla, chocolate, dark malt, roasted, alcohol, bourbon, barrel, vanilla - toasted coconut - bourbon. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20180804]

Bottle thanks to Steve. It pours jet black with a tan head. The aroma is heavy sweet, sticky, oily, big vanilla vibes, toasted coconut, oily and fruit cake. The taste is sweet, sticky, oily, earthy, slick, charred wood, tar, plenty of vanilla, toasted coconut, spice, warming alcohol, damp wood and tannin with a drying finish. Full body and fine carbonation. Not a huge amount of depth. Not bad.
