Can to snifter.
Appearance: dark brown close to black in the pour and in the glass, then a two finger eggshell white foamy but with some slight bubbles inside the foam, once dissipated, light sliding lace
Aroma: big roasty malts, coffee and chocolate (dark and milk), then some woody sweet to spicy tones which seem to be opening up with more of the Buffalo Trace bourbon
Flavor: sweet and roasty initially through the prior noted aromas and has some woody/barrel semi-spicy notes ridr in for a light balance; quick aftertaste of the spicy woody to sweet tones
Texture: medium to full bodied, great sipper, some smoothness but also some roasty to spicy abrasion to the tongue; finishes with the Buffalo Trace and roastiness
Overall: a well done Imperial stout with Buffalo Trace in it, man I can only imagine aging another can of this.
