Brazen is a bright and bold Double IPA, boasting citrusy hops smoothed out with the addition of lactose.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: burnt orange close to amber color with a one and a quarter fingers of white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: muted citrusy hoppy notes with some lactose and some clean malts
Flavor: it doesn't entirely mesh together as the sweetness of the hops seem to fall separately from the bitter side; then there's a sugar aftertaste of candied fruits
Texture: medium bodied, I believe it was mean to be a sipper - maybe; it gets kinda cloying on the tongue; finishes fairly sweet with candied fruits
Overall: I'm just going to say this - yes - it's a crowded market on DIPA's these days and my hard stare at Foundation tells me why this beer has been retired.
