Poured a dark brown to black from bottle with a bit of head that disappeared quickly. Wheat, juicy hops malt. Kind of a weird brew.

Draft. Very dark clear maroon brown color, thick tan head with solid lacing. Aroma of pine and light cocoa. Taste has lots of cocoa, bitter finish. More of a black IPA than anything else.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours a dark brown color with a large frothy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of wheat, chocolate, floral and citrus hops. The taste is wheat, pepper, citrus, earthy and piney hops. A bit strong on the pepper, but still decently balanced. Medium bodied, soft carbonation.
