Brewed in collaboration with Alga, Cigar City, and Point Ybel, for the Florida Brewers Guild Conference, Guilded Pils is a flavorful Northern German-style Pils brewed to showcase a combination of what each brewery brings to the lager table. A combination of noble hop varieties builds a complex profile that is floral, fruity, and spicy, all over a layered Pilsner malt profile that is both grassy and cracker-like. Utilizing a complex single decoction process, the malt character and fermentability were optimized to be a wonderful backdrop for the hop forward lager, that was fermented cold and aged for several weeks, creating a clean ferementation profile over a highly carbonated finish.
