On tap at Green Bench, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of mineraly notes, light-to-moderate dry smoke for the style, and soft wheaty notes underpinning this. Flavour is dry, smoky and mineraly, with gentle campfire smoke upfront, mineraly notes, and soft wheaty notes. I was warned this was really smoky, but it’s on the more timid side for the style. A bit too mineraly, but reasonable done.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear very pale gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a sweet and woody smoke with a bit of wheat coming through. Flavor has a lighter smoke with some wheat and grain notes backing.
