During Medieval times, “The Shadow of the Sun” was how European Alchemists defined the Crow. It was their symbol for the blackness of despair and chaos.
We see the Crow as a Life Force so powerful it can actually live off Death itself. After all, it's not Death if you refuse it…

Oaky tea, cherry, and prune aroma. Cloudy brown, thin tan head. Cherry, raisin, malt. Full body, easy carbonation, warm. A great barleywine with an apparent Belgian influence. Very often I keep trying beers from a brewery with the hopes of finally having one I like. I have the opposite issue with Adroit Theory. I have enjoyed every beer I have had from them so far.

Draft at the brewery. Poured a medium-ruby red color with a small off-white head. Aroma was sweet malts, almost light maple character. Booze. Flavor was sweet malt, light maple sweetness. Alcohol is certainly there, but there’s no harsh burn on it, so I’ll give them that. There is a light tobacco finish to it.
