Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: dark brown color with a finger's worth of tan foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: roasty malts up front with some coffee and dark chocolate tones, some toasted edges and a a light cocoa powder rounding it all out
Flavor: combines all the prior noted aromas together sweetly, roasty and a touch of bitter; mild finish of cocoa powder, roasted malts and coffee
Texture: light to medium bodied, between sessionable and being a sipper; some grit on the tongue but also some smoothness - seems to be fairly in between and ultimately not leaning too much one way
Overall: pretty nicely done porter I believe I would come back to.
