Best before 06/25, buying it at one rio Getränkmarkt, at Winterthur, opening this bottle now after to swim. Original review text: Bottle coming from the Rio at Emmenbrücke. Opening it two days ago, at home, after a trip from Paris. A regular lager/keller beer, not extraordinary but it makes the job with some herbal and grainy notes, rather metalic and dry, a bit spicy, 10.11.21, at home, Epalinges.

# 3941; 11/2023. As Sonnenbräu Rheintaler Zwickel, alc. 5 %. Mouldy, grainy aroma. Murky amber body; off-white head. Malty, cardboard, mouldy. Really bad beer. 0,5 l, bottle, Getränkemarkt, Widnau (St. Gallen, Switzerland).

Das Bier beginnt würzig-malzig. Leichte Herbe vorhanden, süßliche malziger Körper. Würzig, Malz, im Nachgeschmack milder werdend und fast ohne Herbe ausklingend. Süßlich würzig ohne Tiefgang und etwas rau. Schade.

(swing top bottle) Hazy, orange-golden colour with a dense, medium-sized foamy white head. Sweet, slightly yeasty nose with an aromatic fruity and malty aroma, accompanied by light notes of herbal hops. Light-sweet flavour with shy yeasty bitter notes, light to medium bodied; crispy mouthfeel. Yeasty, slightly bready malty taste; medium-dry, sweet and slightly bitter finish with subtle fruity accents (11.07.07).

Bügelverschlußflasche (by kind permission of Quack-Duck !) Golden, hazy with an almost persistent white head; honeyish-grainy nose with traces of yeast; light-bodied, soft MF, delicate sweetish-bitter flavour, short grainy-yeasty finish. Not unpleasant, but very shy.........
