Best I Did It is a 6.5% IPA that brings hops from both coasts together. Brewed with Valley Malt Pilsner malt and NEK flaked wheat, then hit with Altus and Champlain Valley Hops Cascade in the whirlpool for a burst of brightness. It’s followed by two rounds of dry hopping- PNW Chinook first and PNW Cascade second. The result is notes of starfruit, grapefruit zest, and a touch of resin.

Reviewed from notes.
On tap at the brewery.
Poured into a tulip.
Appearance: hazy golden orange color with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: big resinous/piney tones bleeding into some grapefruit and star fruit sweet hoppy tones, clean biscuity malts
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas nicely to a fantastic bittersweet juiciness; finishes with the grapefruit and pine
Texture: medium bodied, good as a sipper, very smooth along the tongue, a touch creamy
Overall: a very nicely done NEIPA. I hope they can this.
