Can to becher glass.
Appearance: burnt amber color with a sly transparency about it; two and a half fingers of white fluffy head which slowly dissipated to leave some light lace
Aroma: muted tropical fruity hops with some also muted piney hops and a light caramel/toffee malt base
Flavor: makes a decent effort to blend the previously noted aromas but seems to fall short a bit; finishes sweet through the fruity hops
Texture: light to medium bodied, I think this wanted to be sessionable but wasn't a sipper either, just seemed "there" - I guess, some smoothness along the tongue
Overall: not sure why we had to have "cold IPA's" come into play in this beer market, maybe I just don't "get" them just yet. I dunno.
