Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: glossy burnt amber color with some kind of light haziness to it; two finger white foamy head which dissipated at a nice pace then left some light lace
Aroma: the hops seem to be fairly muted here but some kind of tropical fruity to citrusy tones try to come out; malts seem to be closer to a caramel/toffee malt base
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas together in a fairly bitter sort of way with the sweetness of those hops coming across somewhat weak; the finish is citrusy with some tropical fruity tones
Texture: light to medium bodied, somewhere between sessionable and being a sipper (this beer doesn't know what it wants to be); astringent hops embrace the tongue pretty harsh
Overall: at this point, I believe I'm glad having no more beer reviews with this brewer because I believe I've had my fill, at least for today.
