“Here’s a knocking indeed!” We finally made a Porter! And true to fashion, this is not a big modern American Porter but instead, a smaller more reserved English take on the style. Made with a goodly amount of Maris Otter, flake barley, amber and chocolate malts, fermented open with a clean English yeast and naturally conditioned to a soft carbonation. Dark body with fast dissipating small off white head. Pleasant biscuit and chocolate aroma. Malty taste, chocolate and toast with a quick finish.
