NJ pale lager
Through no reason other than the craziness of trying to keep up with brewing, we admittedly have neglected our home state's craft malt up until this past year. We started intentionally sprinkling in grain from our friends at @rabbit_hill_malthouse, with this new lager being at the forefront of that. We took a tried-and-true favorite of Lammy, but brewed it entirely with Rabbit Hill's new Avalon pilsner variety to see what fresh flavors we could coax out of it. Dancing the line between rich and malty, and dry and crisp, we're in love. A beer truly made for enjoying by the half liter, but with depth and complexity to keep you thinking until the last bit of foam at the bottom.

12 oz can from the brewery, 2/7/26. Mostly clear gold, thick and foamy white head. Light, streaky lace on the glass. Dough, grass, earthy, herbal, and some spice. Super clean, highly crushable. Quite good.
