So we asked him a simple question, what’s something you don’t get to brew very often, but would love to? His answer fit perfectly in our wheelhouse: a decoction lager.

This beer is something special. A traditionally brewed decoction lager made with local grain from Rabbit Hill and a new Czech hop variety, Saaz Shine.

After two weeks of primary fermentation, it was patiently lagered for six weeks to let everything come together the right way.

It pours with a silky, dense white head, opens grassy with a touch of sweetness, and finishes clean and dry.
