Powerful hippy nose, dark amber color, good balance of bitter and malts come through on the tongue and with a delightfully crisp finish.

Location: Draft at Capital Ale - Innsbrook, 1/17/15
Aroma: It has a rather hoppy aroma, mostly resin and pine, with a little caramel as well.
Appearance: Bright, clear copper color with a beige head and medium lace.
Flavor: The flavor is much the same, lightly sweet, with a big hoppy bitterness
Palate: The body is medium-full, has an average carbonation, and a fairly dry finish
Overall Impression: Overall, a solid, big DIPA. Lots of pine and resin going on here. Drinks fairly dangerously for a 10% beer. I didn't realize the ABV was that high.

Draft: Big yeasty nose of tea, caramel, overripe orange, and grapefruit. Clear copper, medium firm head, nice glass coating. Cashew, rosehips and violets. Finishes with ash and maraschino cherries. Sweet, full body soft carbonation. Good intensity, but a bit syrupy and cloying. Well hopped.

Keg at the brewery. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a large creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of dank, grassy, floral, melon and pine hops, sawdust, pale malt. The taste is herbal, resin, pine, dank hops and an almost salty note. Medium bodied, moderate lingering bitterness, moderate carbonation.
