Stories say that some Austrian monks subsist entirely on Doppelbock during the Lenten season. We don't suggest it unless you've got little to do...but we think this glass full of toasted bread sweetness would help enlighten the season. Cheers!

$4.29 pint can, TWF. Drinking this one for Drake who has a few rough days ahead. Clear strawberry brown with as nice head. Toasted nuts, caramel, bread crust, hint of strawberries... is that really there or am I imagining it because of the color? Flavor is roasted nuts, funk, brown leaf, browning grasses, rye bread crust, hint of fruitiness. Pretty tasty.
