Fermented in Critter barrels from Pen Druid Brewing in Sperryville. Dry hopped with Simcoe and Ekuanot. Herbaceous nose with notes of lemon, boxwood, and funk from wild yeasts. Like a dry hopped saison with its bracingly dry finish.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7.5
On tap at the downtown tasting room. Pours pale golden. Aroma is very much like an ipa: beer, citrus hops, grasses. Interesting, I actually smell no apple here. Flavor is bitter dish soap, lemon rind, light apple skin, earth. Wow. This is quite interesting.
