Our first Collaboration with YVBC Canteen Command. Each year we collaborate exclusively with our Canteen Command Members to create a recipe and brew a special beer. From the conception to the bottling line, our Command Members have been hands on. The first of which is our At Easement Ale. A Scottish style ale named for the Easement restrictions forced upon our brewery in the last few months.

$7.99 bomber from Beer Run. Oof... foam stars coming out as soon as the bottle is popped. A centimeter of beer to 8 inches of head when poured. After 5 minutes, the head shrinks to about half, so this isn’t looking great. Murky brown beer under that head. Aroma is somewhat sweet caramel and typical scottish ale smells. Flavor is roasted malt, slightly sweet caramel, chocolates, some light dark fruit. Carbonation is rough. It’s not bad flavor wise, but I’d like to try a sample from a different batch. This bottle is messy.
