In 1906, brewers in Cologne, Germany defied the Kaiser to make this light, crisp cross between a lager and an ale, known as Kolsch. Here at home, talented German immigrants were building the biplanes that would defy the Kaiser in World War I. Enjoy malt flavors that are somewhat sweet and lightly bready.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5
Tap at brewery. Pours very pale golden with a white head. Aroma is crisp grasses, malt, somewhat lagery. Flavor is lightly sweet grasses up front followed by bitter gasses, grain. Not my favorite style but this is well made.
