Twas not the goat that kicked you, sir; it was my beer. This year’s spring bock lager exemplifies the style: rich, copper color, moderately hopped, malt-forward and quite strong. Brewed with Pilsen, Munich and CaraMunich malts. Served in our signature series glass.

On tap at the brewery. Pours medium brown/amber with an inch of head. Smells malty, with tinges of copper and other metals, as well as alcohol. Flavor is dominated by strong alcohol. I didn’t see the abv of this, but I’d have to guess it’s between 8-9%. Lots of bitter malts in there as well.
