Can. Lightly musty orange malt and grapefruit peel aroma. Cloudy amber with large light tan head. Sweet orange malt and moderately bitter grapefruit peel flavor. Lingering hops in the finish. Extra points for sponsoring the Trailer Park Boys.

On tap at the brewery - hoppy tasting flight. A clear amber gold, a nice balanced malty + hop aroma. Smooth and fairly soft mouthfeel. The taste is pine bark but pretty soft & inviting. Very earthy. A balanced bitter IPA.

On tap at the Amsterdam Brewhouse, on the Toronto waterfront. Now at 7.2% ABV and 85 IBU. Golden amber with a tight cream head; piney aroma; taste of pine and citrus with a biscuity base and a soft and moreish finish. A well balanced and rather muted IPA.

On tap at Bar Hop, pours clear copper with a medium beige head. Aroma and flavour of dry caramel malt, some tangy apples, and floral hops. Too malty for an IPA. Not good.

Pours old-penny brown with a light brown head that sticks around with some lacing. Smells of hops and pine. The taste has a lot going on with it. Definitely citrusy hops, apricot, and cam. Very nice creamy mouth feel, mildly bitter aftertaste. Might be my new hoppy beer of choice. Sorry Mad Tom, don’t be...uh...mad.

Bottle from the LCBO. Pours a deep cloudy copper with a one finger beige head. Aroma is up front pine with but a good background of citrus and caramel. Bitter at beginning middle and end but the malts keep it under control. Alcohol shows up in the long bitter finish. Medium creamy body with slightly soft carbonation. One of my favourite local IPAs.
