Shadowlifter is our coffee oatmeal milk stout brewed with British Maris Otter, flaked oats, and a heavy combination of Crystal and dark roasted specialty malts. Milk sugar was added during the boil to balance the roasty/chocolatey malt profile, and create a sweet and full body. After fermentation, Shadowlifter was conditioned on top of freshly roasted Stamp Act coffee.

Can from Tavour. Pours dark brown with a persistent creamy tan head. Aroma of dark roasty/burnt malt and chocolate. Med body. Malty and not dry. Bitter from burnt malt and coffee. Fair amount of chocolate and a good dose of lactose. Pretty good milk stout.
