On tap at Grains of Wrath, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma reveals a nice bourbon barrel expression that has subtle smokiness and a touch of vanillin, with a nice deep chocolatey, ligitly roasted malt base. Flavour is rich, with deep bourbon barrels pervading the palate, plenty of dark chocolatey malts, a touch of roast, and soft coffee undertones. Very smooth palate, with great underlying malt support, and expert use of the barrels. Excellent.
