Tasting at Matt’s; 12% ABV, bottle 1653/2376
Black color with medium sized brownish head. Nice chocolate aroma like the regular Epitaph, with just a hint of barrel. Smooth mouthfeel, good chocolate flavor, some coconut, lightly astringent.
Good, not impressive.

22 oz. bottle, pours black with a medium brown head. Nose is quite lovely, with bourbon notes, light vanilla, and cocoa. Flavour is very pleasant and not exactly robust, with notes of cocoa, vanilla, and bourbon. The 12% is not apparent at all - this really drinks like a 7% beer. Very cohesive and balanced, without anything off. Quite a soft, smooth beer for what it is. Very nice, just as good as he regular.

Bottle - Caramel and tons of vanilla with some toasted coconut. Deep brown with a light brown head. Lots of vanilla, coconut and barrel, but really just more of the same. Prefer the original.

Bottle courtesy of ajax25g, thank you sir! Listed as 12% abv on the label. Jet black color, brown head with solid lacing. Aroma of licorice, burnt coffee, toasted coconut, vanilla. Taste is bourbon, vanilla, and the burnt stuff on the bottom of the coffee pot. Tasty, and not overwhelmed by the bourbon. Still, a very big beer.
