You won't have to hunt for the raspberries in this beer - they leap straight onto the palate with the very first sip. Tap at Pastryccioni Festival, in Rimini, Italy. Pours dark brown, partially black, with very fine brown foam. Aroma is a weird mix of intense berries, a little artificial, and malty/nutty. Body is rather thick, sticky, with moderate carbonation. Taste is fairly sweet, with the berries flavour dominating. Only some roastiness behind. Final is still fairly dominated by berries.

33cl bottle from Sip, Tallinn. Pours very dark mahogany coloured with a fairly modest, tanned head. Roasty aroma with dark chocolate, dark fruits, ripe raspberries, wood and hints of alcohol and caramel. Sweet, smoot and flavourful with pleasant slightly acidic notes. Could easily have this one again.
