It was almost autumn when we brewed the test batch of this IPA. Jeanine was already wearing a sweater, and Nikki was working on a stew.
A strange moment to brew a tropical IPA, but it warmed us right up. And above the Overvecht shopping center, we even saw a patch of blue sky.
Makes sense, because we threw a lot of sunny hops into this beer. Mandarina Bavaria, for example, but also Mosaic. And to make this beer truly tropical, we dry-hopped the whole thing with a hefty dose of El Dorado.
Sunshine — that’s what this beer is all about. Crack open a can and don’t forget to put on some sunscreen!
