Clocking in at 6.7% ABV, Shakedown Jams is brewed with some of our favorite recent batches of hops. We double dry hopped this one with fresh Citra, Mosaic, Nelson Sauvin, and Nectaron for a full-spectrum sensory trip. Expect explosive aromas of juicy citrus and lush tropical fruit, followed by layers of ripe stone fruit, gooseberry, tangelo, white grape, and sticky pineapple, all wrapped up in a soft, hazy body that keeps the groove smooth and endlessly drinkable.

Appearance: great looking pale orange woody color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: huge citrusy to white grapey to pineapple to oranges & nectarine hop notes, light clean bready malts
Flavor: intertwines all the prior noted aromas to a fine bittersweet juicy quality; finishes with citrusy, white grapey and orangey hop tones
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, even keeled smoothness along the tongue then an ever so slight touch of creaminess
Overall: Brix City certainly has my eye on them as they are becoming fine purveyors of the New England styled IPA. And this one is another one they can be proud of.
