This Jamaican Rum barrel had black strap molasses notes, we filled it with our Scottish-style Wee Heavy. The fruit, roast, and caramel notes blended deliciously with this barrel. It is a chocolate, nougat, vanilla, maple coated treat. Enjoy this closer to cellar temp.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear deep brown with an amber hue and a near white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has rum and molasses notes with some dates and sweet dark grains supporting. Flavor has a nice rum and plum combination with molasses and a touch of sweet dark grains underlying.
