Twisted Reality Barleywine fully aged to maturity and then moved to a second-freshly dumped bourbon barrel from a new distiller for additional aging. Big, rich, intense, toffee, red fruits, raisin, milk chocolate, butter-toffee, and a wonderful woody barrel character.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber brown with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has barrel and sweet grains with some toffee and a hint of raisin underlying. Flavor has raisin and bourbon with growing toffee and a touch of sweet grain backing.
