Reviewed from notes.
Can to mug.
Appearance: dark brown in color with a one finger beige foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: dark roasted malts with an ample amount of earthy to grassy and floral hops flanking the sides of the scents, chocolatey and some coffee tones ride in underneath
Flavor: well blended between all those prior noted aromas - a bitter to toasty and a little bit sweet; finishes the same way too
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, good level of carb, some smoothness but also some rugged vibes from the earthy hops acting fairly aggressive with my tongue
Overall: totally an American styled brown ale, and quite nice, I thought these hoppier brown ales were almost becoming dinosaurs but glad MM does one, I would return to this.
