7.9
Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.5

Location: Draft at One World, 1/3/15

Aroma: The aroma is roasted malts and coffee, chocolate, and a little dry, hoppy notes
Appearance: Pours a dark brown color with a thick head and some heavy lace
Flavor: The flavor is actually pretty nice, dry and roast, coffee, roast, and some hop flavors
Palate: The body is medium, with a nice mouthfeel, and a soft carbonation
Overall Impression: This was probably my favorite beer at One World. I didn't get much coconut, but otherwise, this is an enjoyable roasted porter. Sessionable for sure.

Keg at the brewery. Pours dark brown with a large creamy brown head. Decent head retention. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, coconut, vanilla, piney hops. The taste is roasted malt, apples, coconut, vanilla. Bitter finish. Medium bodied, low carbonation.

Draft at the source, Asheville pub crawl with Jim. Clear dark maroon color, brown head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of roasty coffee grounds, light coconut. Taste has more roast than coconut. Light and easy to drink.
